Delivery & shipping policy

Engineered joists that combine the lightness of timber with the strength of Posi-Strut steel web. This creates a quality floor or roof system that can span further than alternative timber products with less deflection or movement.

Delivery processing time

Orders via Standard Delivery will typically be delivered in 2-3 weeks, however, this is subject to change based on volume of orders in a given timeframe

Orders via Fast Track Delivery are delivered in 5 working days from the point of order confirmation. On our website, this means the point at which we have provided a design after ordering and you have confirmed it is correct and ready for manufacture.

Orders via our Express 48 hour service are delivered in 2 working days from the point of order confirmation. On our website, this means the point at which we have provided a design after ordering and you have confirmed it is correct and ready for manufacture.

Standard delivery rates and delivery estimates for online orders

Normally delivery rates for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Where they are not calculated the delivery rates are based on the following:

£100 flat fee + £2 per mile from our location in Hampshire. The maximum we will charge you is £150. We will ring you after you’ve placed your order to confirm which day you’d like us to deliver on.

Standard & 5 day delivery rates and delivery estimates

Both Standard and Fast-Track Delivery options are £250 for orders under £2500, and FREE for orders over £2500.

Please note, in exceptionally busy periods, we may need to increase the Fast Track Delivery cost or remove it entirely.

Ancillary metalwork & fixings.

We aim to dispatch orders on the next working for a 1-3 day standard delivery.

Free Standard delivery on orders over £250 otherwise £20 per order.

For Express next day delivery orders need to be placed by 13:00 to allow processing.

Hampshire Engineered Timber Frames Ltd deliver to most of mainland England and Wales. We can deliver further afield to the channel islands via shipping handlers, please contact us for more options.

We DO NOT deliver outside of the United Kingdom.

Hampshire Engineered Timber Solutions are a MiTek Posi-Joist manufacturer and benefit from the very latest industry leading design and layout software to create project specific designs.

Detailed output drawings can be provided for approval and manufacture, but it is the 3D viewer tools that really separates Posi-Joist from the rest.

Designs are shared via a free cloud based 3D viewing platform, allowing for a fully interactive 3D model of the floor or roof to be viewed on any internet enabled device. No apps are required, you will be sent a link to your model and simply click it to view in your browser..
