Engineered rafters that combine the lightness of timber with the strength of Posi-Strut steel web. A quality roof system that can span further than alternative timber products.

Economy

Posi-Rafters can span greater distances than timber. Coupled with their open web design, this gives the contractor several important cost saving advantages, outweighing the what may seem an initially un-favorable cost comparison against timber joists.

Thermal Performance

With reduced timber they offer better thermal bridging. The webs can also be insulated, giving enhanced thermal U-values.

Posi-Rafters

A wide range of depths and end details provide great flexibility. Expensive hangers and metalwork can be minimised or eliminated through clever detailing by our skilled designers.

The open web construction allows for services and utilities to be easily routed through the rafters with no need for cutting, drilling or battening out.

Posi-Rafters can also offer greater thermal U-values than solid timber rafters.
