Hampshire’s local Posi-Joist manufacturer
HETS designs and manufactures MiTek Posi-Joists at our factory in Swanmore, between Southampton and Portsmouth. If your project is in Hampshire, your joists are made a short drive away. You can collect them, visit the factory, or have them delivered straight to site.
Every order includes a free design, structural calculations for building control and a free interactive 3D model. Our standard lead time is 15–20 days from design approval.

Recent projects across Hampshire
- Large new build, Botley: a full set of engineered joists for a large new house. The customer described them as “high quality and competitively priced”.
- Barn mezzanines, Lymington: a mezzanine floor built into an existing barn. The customer came back for a second mezzanine floor at the same farm, and said our communication was “prompt, professional, and clear at every stage”.
- Two phases, Portsmouth: first floor joists, then the second floor and roof on a later phase of the same building.
- New homes, Calmore: joists for a local housebuilder.

Delivery prices can change with fuel prices, which are outside our control, so every design quote includes the exact delivery cost for your site.

Can I collect my joists?
Yes. Collection from Swanmore is by arrangement, and we’ll tell you when your order is ready.
Can I visit the factory?
Yes, by appointment, 10am–4pm, Monday to Friday. Get in touch to book a time.
Do you supply both small extensions and large projects?
Yes. We supply extensions, loft conversions, new homes, housebuilders and commercial mezzanines, all with a free design and calcs.
