Posi-Joists delivered across the South of England
HETS designs and manufactures Posi-Joists at our factory in Swanmore, Hampshire. We deliver across the south coast, the South West, the Home Counties and London. Every order includes a free design and structural calculations for building control, and our standard lead time is 15–20 days from design approval.
We have supplied floors and roofs from Lymington to Camden, and from Brighton to Cheltenham. Below are the areas we cover, with some of the places our joists have gone.

One delivery price across the south
All 14 counties on this page sit in our Local delivery zone, so joist delivery costs the same to Southampton as it does to Kent or Gloucester.
- Standard delivery: £350 (+1% handling, max £50), within our 15–20 day lead time
- Fast Track (5 day): £500
- Express (48 hour): £650
- Metalwork & fixings: free standard delivery on orders over £200; next day £40
- Collection: from our factory in Swanmore by arrangement
Plymouth, Milton Keynes and the Enfield, Ilford and Romford postcodes are in our Medium zone (£400). We also deliver across the rest of England and Wales. Just ask.
Delivery prices can change with fuel prices, which are outside our control, so every design quote includes the exact delivery cost for your site.
Our home county
Posi-Joists in Hampshire
Our factory is at Hill Farm Yard, Swanmore, between Southampton and Portsmouth. That makes Hampshire our quickest area to deliver to, and you can collect or visit the factory by appointment.
Recent Hampshire projects include:
- a large new build house near Botley
- a mezzanine floor at a farm near Lymington, for a repeat customer
- homes and extensions in Southampton, Portsmouth, Southsea, Fareham, Romsey, Bishop’s Waltham, Wickham, Waltham Chase, Alton and Nursling

South West
Dorset and Wiltshire
Dorset: we have supplied replacement joists and an extension in Mudeford, Christchurch, where we surveyed the site first for peace of mind. We have also supplied homes in Poole and Bournemouth. We cover Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne, Dorchester, Weymouth and Shaftesbury. See Posi-Joists Dorset.
Wiltshire: projects in Swindon (including a depot) and Cricklade. We cover Salisbury, Swindon, Chippenham, Trowbridge, Devizes and Marlborough.
Home Counties
Surrey, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire
Surrey: several projects around Farnham, plus Chobham and Chilworth near Guildford. We cover Guildford, Woking, Farnham, Camberley, Epsom, Redhill and Dorking. See Posi-Joists Surrey.
Berkshire: a project in Hungerford. We cover Reading, Newbury, Bracknell, Wokingham, Windsor and Maidenhead.
Buckinghamshire: in Farnham Common, a builder made a measuring error on site, so we re-engineered the design and the site only needed a minor adjustment. Near Gerrards Cross, we made and delivered joists at very short notice to keep the project on programme. We cover High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Amersham, Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross.
Sussex
West Sussex and East Sussex
West Sussex: a self-build hangar conversion in Midhurst. We helped finalise the design, hosted a workshop visit with the owner’s carpenter and delivered a day early. Also a project in South Harting. We cover Chichester, Worthing, Horsham, Crawley, Midhurst and Bognor Regis. See Posi-Joists Sussex.
East Sussex: a phased project in Brighton for a main contractor, whose Contracts Manager called us “exceptionally client-focused”. We cover Brighton & Hove, Eastbourne, Lewes, Hastings and Crowborough.
Greater London
Posi-Joists in London
Tight sites, mews houses and loft and basement projects all benefit from made-to-measure joists that arrive ready to fit. In London we have supplied:
- three phases of joists for one project in Camden
- homes and extensions in Belsize Park, Acton, Fulham, Knightsbridge, Bromley, Romford and West Drayton
- a cricket pavilion in Hampton Wick

We also deliver across Somerset (including a chapel project in Clevedon), Gloucestershire (Cheltenham), Oxfordshire, Devon and Kent, all in the same delivery zone as Hampshire (except Plymouth). Beyond the south, our joists have gone as far as Essex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Northumberland.

Do you deliver to my area?
We deliver across England and Wales. Every quote includes the exact delivery cost.
Can I collect from the factory?
Yes, from Hill Farm Yard, Swanmore, SO32 2PY, by arrangement. Factory visits are by appointment, 10am–4pm, Monday to Friday.
Is the design still free if I’m not local?
Yes. Every quote includes a free Posi-Joist design and structural calculations, wherever you are.
How long does delivery take?
Our standard lead time is 15–20 days from design approval. 5-day and 48-hour services are available for an additional fee, subject to location and factory capacity.
